Sweet, Sweet Kisses

There are times I enjoy just one kiss,
slowly slipping into the moment
and lingering
for the sensual delight.
Other times, I accept
three or four
or more, and relish in
pure pleasure.
Occasionally, I deliberately
deprive myself
and go without.
But there is a point in time
when I indulge and submit to
one after another
after another
after another
barely taking a breath,
dizzy from divine intoxication.
I slide deep into a world of
dense dark passion,
and held captive for a few
euphoric moments,
I peel off the twisted
purple foil,
pull off the thin paper strip
and slide another dark chocolate
kiss on my tongue.
M-m-m-m-m-m.

The Wait

When delight is devastated
by disappointment,
sublime turns sour,
exquisite choreographed dance
loses the music
and loss can not find
its way back,
angels weep.
They observe an interrupted
journey of joy
and are saddened.
They pray.
They wait.
They trust.

Uncontrollable Journey

Delicious passionate poetry,
take me where you wish.
I am along for the ride.
I buckle up.
There is no turning back.
Blow—my—mind.
